Once upon a time there were two friends… We’ll call them Josette and Teresa…. Teresa was going through some difficult times, so Josette wrote lyrics to a song for Teresa while travelling back home from Key West, lyrics to tell Teresa that she is not alone, and the balance will come back in time, that she will find what she is looking for – Equilibrium. Sadly, Josette, the friend who wrote the lyrics, did not know how to write music or play an instrument. She did, however, have many musician friends who liked her lyrics and melody and encouraged and supported her, and came together (remotely) to build it into a song.
And so Equilibrium was realized.
Josette and Teresa are actually not just a story, they are two friends you actually maybe know, especially if you have been to some of the trop rock events, and certainly if you have been to The Habitat. The names Josette and Teresa are actually their middle names, and would sound great as stage names “Josette Myer and Teresa Lore”, but you know them as Heather Settlemyer and Mary McClure. And so here it is, Heather’s first song….

Heather says…

“I am so proud to put this song out into the world! It has been my intention to raise money for the Trop Rock Artist Relief fund with any donations that this song can generate.
