Erica Sunshine Lee at The Habitat Saturday, November 1st, 6:30 show

About Erica…

Country Music Singer/Songwriter and Nashville Recording Artist Erica Sunshine Lee has earned the reputation of “Hardest Working Woman in Country Music” due to her uncompromising work ethic, established during her up-bringing in northeast Georgia. Musically, Erica’s new album “Buried Treasure” is reminiscent of a female Jimmy Buffett that sweeps you away with a feel-good pop-country vibe and will have you singing along, wishing you were sipping a mojito in paradise.  With her captivating songs and a truly engaging personality, Erica travels the world, gaining new fans in every city, state and country she plays in.

Sunshine has scored 2 top 80 singles, 3 top 10 singles in Europe, in the US, and 1 top 20 single in Australia.“This is the kind of authentic music country DJ’s have been asking for,” says Nashville’s Al Brock. DJ’s all across Europe and the states are raving about Sunshine’s  “infectious and catchy hooks. This songbird holds nothing back, and brings a gallop of energy with her true country roots shining. She also puts her heart and soul in each ballad.”

A prolific songwriter who has penned songs recorded by dozens of Nashville artists, including Mark Bray, the late Alabama Outlaw Legend Wayne Mills, Thomas Fountain (Recent Georgia Country’s Male Artist of the Year, The Viper Creek Band (Australia’s hottest new country band), Preston Summerville and more. Mike Nash at The Habitat 2025

Mike Nash Returns to The Habitat Saturday, September 13th, 6:30 show

About Mike…

Southern Rockin’ Country with a twist of lime, a splash of salt water, and distilled in the backwoods of Tennessee…yep, that about sums it up!

Mike has spent well over a decade on the road-touring the US, Caribbean, Mexico and Central America-and building a grass roots fanbase for his original music. With story teller songs about life and love, lyrical tales from the unique people he’s met along the way, and of course plenty of summertime “drinkin’ at the lake tunes” with an island-inspired twist, there’s something in a Mike Nash show for everyone to relate to.

POSTPONED!!! Johnny Cash’s Eldest Grandson – Thomas Gabriel

By |
Saturday September 6, 2025 5:30 PM

Thomas Gabriel – POSTPONED!!!

Due to unforseen circumstances Thomas has had to cancel all travel plans for a while. We will reschedule him as soon as we are able to based on availability of dates on both our schedules….

Calling him a pinch hitter seems wrong, given the performer (this show takes the place of the reschedule we will need to do for Mishka!)

We are quite excited to be recognized as a worthy venue in a wider Genre of Music – We will welcome to the Habitat Stage on September 6th, Johnny Cash’s eldest grandson Thomas Gabriel!

Real. Raw. Passionate. Songs that tell stories. Genre-straddling music heavily influenced by his country roots. When asked what finally inspired him to release his debut album, Thomas Gabriel accredits the timing of his music career largely to fate. Born in Ventura, California, to Kathy Cash (one of four daughters Johnny Cash had with first wife Vivian Liberto Cash.)

Thomas Gabriel spent time touring with grandparents Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash as a boy and became interested in music at an early age. In addition to following in his family’s musical footsteps, Gabriel also followed down the path of substance abuse. His addictions led to a lengthy arrest record, and a number of years in prison. The solitude of prison provoked him to explore songwriting again, a journey that he had begun in his youth.

After release, Thomas began paving a new path. Undoubtedly influenced by his iconic grandfather, in 2018 Gabriel began working on his debut album, Long Way Home.

Dedicated now to telling his story in an effort to help spread awareness for those battling addiction, Thomas Gabriel continues to aim his focus on writing and releasing new music and to touring the world.

It’s been a rough road… a road less traveled, but when you meet Thomas Gabriel you’ll soon learn that each and every twist and turn has taken him from the lowest of valleys to the highest of mountain tops. His songwriting is always personal and his stories are compelling.

“When things are tough, I can pump out songs like no tomorrow. Maybe I am not as self-aware when I am happy, but I am always working on my songwriting. I love performing live. When I sing one of my own songs, I put everything that went into creating it into the performance…for me the best compliment I can get is when someone tells me that my music has helped them through a hard time or touched their heart in some way. When I look in the audience and someone is singing my lyrics back to me, that’s it – it’s the biggest thing by far.”

SOLD OUT!

Ariella & Nicholass return to The Habitat October 4th, 2025

Ariella and Nicholass are talented artists with a passion for blues, jazz and soul. And you are going to love their performance.

Hailing from Sarasota Florida, this duo manages to combine stunning melodies with infectious grooves and great beats, in order to create a catchy, yet direct and edgy sound. Ariella teamed up with Nicolaas Kraster, a talented musician from Fredonia NY, in 2009 and have set the bar high with excellent music and live shows. They have performed at iconic venues, such as NYC’s Blue Note, as well as international dates throughout Canada, the USA and the UK.

Ariella’s recent releases are a great example of her sonic vision, marking a unique step forward for this artist, whose sound is becoming increasingly more personal and defined. This charismatic performer is quickly generating a powerful buzz around herself. Due to her distinctive approach to songwriting, Ariella has often been compared to artists as diverse as Etta James, Patsy Cline or Amy Winehouse, just to mention a few.

Welling/Fury/Bostic

By |
Saturday March 15, 2025 5:30 PM EDT to 10:00 PM EDT

Carrie Welling, Mick Fury, Jenn Bostic 2025

note, VIP is sold out. Standard seating still available, select VIP upgrade request if VIP is desired, upgrade not guaranteed, ask at door first come first serve!

Carrie Welling

Fans have loved Carrie Welling’s music from the inception and it’s clear to see why. Her bold, sultry voice, reminiscent of Sheryl Crow’s grit, Tom Petty’s pen, and Stevie Nicks’ heart, is upstaged only by the genuine love and connection this performer has with her fans both on and off stage.

Welling’s latest album, Crack in the Chaos, invites listeners on a journey to search for the joy in the turmoil – the glimmer of light that always guides us. Melodies rich in Americana pop blend seamlessly with her singer-songwriter roots and empowered, honest lyrics. But while this new collection of songs maintain Welling’s signature raw vulnerability and authenticity – qualities that are essential to her creative process – fans will certainly take note of a more mature and evolved sound. Check out her info at Carrie Welling

Jenn Bostic

Jenn Bostic is a soulful singer/songwriter with a hint of pop, blues and gospel. Her emotive songwriting and powerful vocals have been touching hearts around the world. Her hit song “Jealous of the Angels,” written for her late father, has over 50 million collective streams on YouTube, has gone #1 on various iTunes charts by various artists in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The song was covered by the US Army Band, has been played on Sirius XMs The Pulse and other mainstream ACs reaching that format’s Top 40, and the Positive Country and Southern Gospel Charts Top 10. Check out her info at Jenn Bostic

Mick Fury

Cranking up a mix tape equal parts Nirvana, Tupac, and Garth Brooks, Mick Fury hopped in his busted up 1989 Mercury Tracer and moved across the country to the Sunset Strip in 2002. He was immediately met by a left hook from a homeless woman at a gas station, sending him sprawling to the ground. “That established sort of a nice rock bottom and I figured I could only go up from there.” Returning home a few years later to Syracuse NY, Mick’s hard rock band Silent Fury landed their song “Exit Wounds” in the movie Underworld and opened for Vertical Horizon, Spin Doctors, The Stone Temple Pilots and many more. The nights of hard drinking and carousing were taking their toll however and they needed a change. Mick packed his things again and moved to Nashville to try his hand at country music. His band began opening for Frankie Ballard, Craig Campbell, and Brothers Osborne. Finding “daisy dukes” and “jacked up trucks” not really his thing, Mick felt himself migrating into Americana music.

Mick began touring Solo, playing Key West Songwriter Fest, Americana Fest, St. Augustine Songwriter Fest and CMA Fest. His myriad histories seemed to merge together as one weekend he’d open for Travis Tritt, the next weekend he’d find himself on stage with his old friends Vertical Horizon. “I guess we’re inevitably the product of all of our choices – LA, NY and Nashville couldn’t just be dusted off, they’d become affixed to my musical soul.”

In 2022 Mick was asked to be the composer for Cole Houser’s (Rip of Yellowstone) and Mel Gibson’s film PANAMA. Upon theatrical release Panama landed in iTunes Movies Top 8 and Mick’s music was heard by hundreds of thousands of fans. Simultaneously Mick pulled his rock and roll ruffians back together and begun plotting for a new Americana album. His album 1981-1996, the story of the Millennial struggle, was released in June 2023 to rave reviews, with Nashville’s WMOT Roots Radio saying, “Mick Fury has given a voice to his generation on his new anthemic 10-song album 1981-1996” while AmericanaUK proclaimed, “”there are a number of hummable tunes here, and there’s no denying Fury is blessed with a powerful and rich baritone.” Saving Country Music called it “An Album we’re excited about!”

Mick’s songs have been featured on the Young and the Restless, while his documentary about the political divide in America called “The Front Porch of America” can be seen on Roku and Youtube. Mick has recently performed at Americana Fest, Key West Songwriter Fest, Space Coast Fest, and Songwriter Serende in Austin, TX.  Check out Mick’s info at Mick Fury

Now, since it is LONG… here are the Musician Bios for the 3 people that don’t already know 😉 – THE RSVP SECTION is BELOW THIS – SCROLL DOWN!!!

Brendan MAYER:

Brendan Mayer is quickly gaining attention as an artist and songwriter, with his signature voice and intelligent songs. The son of acclaimed guitarist and songwriter, Peter Mayer, Brendan has crafted his unique voice from a young age. A long time resident of Nashville, Brendan was the lead singer of buzz-band, The Turf, sharing the stage with successful acts such as American Bang and Jeff the Brotherhood. Brendan was also a featured artist on Jimmy Buffett’s 2014 summer tour, and that same year he released his debut EP “The Getaway Car” on Mailboat Records.

Recently, he and his father have collaborated to release their first album together under the Peter Mayer/Brendan Mayer name — “Long Story Short” — which has received extensive airplay on Sirius/XM Radio. In addition, Brendan is preparing to release a new single of his own — “Wrong Place” — to be followed by a continuous rollout of new music throughout the year.

With an introspective lyricism and engaging melodic sensibility that marries Americana, Folk, and Indie Pop, Brendan creates music that is somewhere between Nick Drake, John Mayer, The National, and Arcade Fire. He tours regularly throughout the United States and Europe, and has steadily built a loyal following.

Eric ERDMAN:

Eric Erdman was writing songs at 8 years old. When he and his older brother sat at the end of their family’s pier on Mobile Bay, they learned to play guitar to the rhythm of the waves and they pulled as many tunes from that water as they did fish.

Eric’s passion for and knowledge of music grew throughout his high school and college years. After graduating from the University of South Alabama with a B.S. in Statistics, Eric continued to pursue his music career, forming the funk rock band The Ugli Stick. The group recorded four albums and toured worldwide for years with Eric as front man.

Soon Eric joined the writing staff in Muscles Shoals at legendary Fame Studios, where he not only met and impressed producer Jimmy Nutt, but also soaked up inspiration from the history and roots of the small north Alabama town known as “The Hit Recording Capital of the World.”

Smart lyrics, gorgeous melodies, soulful ballads: Eric’s range transcends genre. As a guitarist, Eric’s mastery and versatility has him touring with world class acts like the Buddy Rich Band, Kristy Lee, Nadirah Shakoor. Besides his own singer/songwriter credentials, Eric produces projects for other artists as well.

“Being the singer, artist, writer, and producer is a lot, and it is hard to wear all of those hats at once, but Eric is one of the few people who can do it.” – Jimmy Nutt, Grammy winning producer / owner of The Nutthouse

Claiming influences like James Taylor, Jim Croce, Mac McAnally and David Wilcox, Eric’s style moves through soulful rhythm and blues into jazzy funk, then turns the corner and brings you right back to your roots with a smooth country tune.

“The songwriters I look up to are open channels for any experience that comes to them,” Erdman says. “Nothing is off limits. If it is a human emotion , it is valid song fodder.”

Eric takes this same fearless mindset to the stage , where his decades of touring experience has honed his ability to fully bring his songs to life. With confidence he delivers a dynamic display of his tunes, that always leaves audiences wanting more.

BREWER:

Donny Brewer is a Central Texas born and bred multi-instrumentalist with over 30 years experience entertaining crowds in all genres in all parts of the world. Though he has been writing and recording Trop Rock all his life, he was not discovered until 2012 after releasing his first of five beach and escapism themed albums, Live Like Jimmy Buffett.

He’s since won 25 Trop Rock Music Association awards for his music including Entertainer Of The Year 6 times.

He’s now on tour full time living in a Winnebago with his wife Michelle playing everything from solo house concerts to large festival shows with his 7 piece band the Dock Rockers, combining Trop Rock with all his earlier blues, rock, country and R&B influences.

Donny continues to write and record new material while on the road and now hosts events, trips and festivals, including the annual Karavan and Mexico Meltdown among others. Not to mention the cruises and trips he joins other Trop Rockers on.

Now working on his 6th album, he says this was the one thing he discovered: “This is who I’ve been all along. Writing and recording island, trop rock, or whatever you wanna call it is natural for me. It’s easy. With other music, I always feelt like I could’ve written it better, or done a better production or sang it better. I was never quite happy with it, ya know. With this music it’s like gravy. I hardly ever do a second vocal take. And it’s like there’s no rules. If I wanna throw in a goofy percussion part or change styles I can do that. It’s my music. It makes me happy. It makes me feel good. And hopefully it’ll do that for other folks too. That would just be the icing on the cake…or the…lime on the margarita, or something!”
